Our parents and citizens' association (P&C) brings the school community together. Parents, teachers and community members can help meet the needs of the school community and contribute to decisions about the school.
The P&C also raises funds that help finance improvements to our school and provide additional resources.
York Public School P&C meeting is held on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 7:00pm in the teacher's staffroom.
On behalf of the fete committee, I would like to thank the whole school community for making this event an overwhelming success and it was lovely to see so many families attend.
We made a total profit of $19, 344.90!
This day was only made possible by the effort and dedication of a small group of parents and teachers who gave up many hours to make this a successful day. Special thanks to Janine Evans (co-ordinator) Sharon Vella, Alison Porter, Donna James, Michelle Matthews, Kylie Schemmp, Mrs Parker, Mrs Wood, Mrs Zoglmeyer, Miss Ginn and Mr Sinfield. We need to also thank all the wonderful ladies in the office for the extra workload and many messages back and forth.
To all the teachers thank you for the magnificent artwork and for your enthusiasm toward the fete.
To all the families and local businesses, thank you for your generous donations, the day would not have been as successful without your contributions.
