About us
York Public School is a co-educational primary school located in South Penrith, established in 1976, with an enrolment of just under 500 students. We are proud to offer a dynamic mainstream program alongside our RISE learning environment, ensuring every student is supported to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our vision is to pursue excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring continuous improvement for every student, teacher, and leader each year. We are committed to fostering a strong, evidence-informed learning culture that engages and challenges all learners to achieve their full potential in a safe, supportive environment.
Learning at York Public School is a collaborative partnership, where student voice and agency are central to decision-making. Through this approach, we aim to empower students to become confident, resilient, self-directed, and successful learners.
